House holds moment of silence for Virginia Beach police officers LODD
Virginia Congresswoman Jen Kiggans says surrounded by members of the Virginia delegation that her community lost two local heroes when a criminal killed two Virginia Beach officers during a routine traffic stop, one officer 30 years old having served with the police department and sheriff's office for six years leaving behind a wife, the other just 25 years old with the police department since 2020 leaving behind his wife and unborn daughter. Kiggans then leads the House of Representatives in a moment of mournful silence.
