Senator Schumer prays Trump can cover GOP from NRA if bills pass
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, answers a reporter question at a news conference two weeks after a mass shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school, answering that the first step in a push was President Donald Trump to provide cover for the Republican party under a vice like, by the National Rifle Association and not again wiggling through a measure that did not upset the NRA such as on bump stocks devices. Schumer says the only hope of passing a plan was Trump persuading Republicans, adding with a gesture, let us pray.
