The world's first 16-megawatt offshore wind turbine was successfully installed in east China's Fujian Province on June 28 with the last blade fastened to the hub, and the bolt tightening work is underway. The 16-megawatt wind turbine, about 35 kilometers away from the shoreline, boasts the world's largest per-unit capacity.
