Huge Wave Flows Into Pool as Hurricane Ian Approaches Cayman Islands
A huge wave was recorded crashing and overflowing into a swimming pool as Hurricane Ian neared Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, on Monday, September 26. Footage recorded by David Acutt shows a wave crash and flow over a barrier, washing sand and debris into a housing development's swimming pool. The Cayman Islands National Weather Service https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=453365860158897&set=pcb.453365923492224 issued a hurricane warning in the region that day, cautioning residents of "extremely rough seas." A flood warning was still in effect for the islands on Tuesday as rain continued. (Footage by David Acutt/Storyful via Getty Images UGC)
