French Left protest after Francois Hollande's first year as President
Thousands of protesters demonstrate to mark socialist President Hollande's first year in office. Demonstrators accuse the French President of turning his back on the left and not fulfilling his election promises. The Comminist backed Front de Gauche (Left Front) started the march at the Bastille, the square of the French Revolution. Jean-Luc Melenchon leader of the Front de Gauche claims that the Socialist government betrayed its supporters. Woman dressed as Marianne, the national emblem of France dances.
