Georgetown, GUYANA: This photo taken on 05 April 2007 shows the Bourda Oval cricket ground in Georgetown, Guyana. For years the Bourda Oval stood firm against testing times and wretched weather, but the ongoing World Cup has signalled the end for one of the most ancient cricket grounds in the Caribbean. With the modern National Stadium at the Providence, built by the Indian government at a cost of 25 million dollars, taking over from Bourda, the historic ground is now relegated to hosting regional matches only.
