(Original Caption) Shapely singer Abbe Lane is clay in the hands of Bulgarian-born sculptor Assen Peikov as he molds a bust of her in his Rome studio. Looking pleased with Abbe in both flesh and art is her husband, Brazilian bandleader Xavier Cugat (right). The Cugats are in the Eternal City to make a movie. Other beauties sculptured by Peikov include Ava Gardner and Sophia Loren.
