Bavaria Starts Dawn-To-Dusk Curfew As Measure To Slow Coronavirus Spread
MUNICH, GERMANY - MARCH 21: A person enter the Munich suburban railway at Marienplatz station, normally a magnet for tourists, stands nearly empty on the first day of a dawn-to-dusk curfew in Bavaria as a measure to counter the spread of the coronavirus on March 21, 2020 in Munich, Germany. Bavarian authorities introduced the measure as of midnight last night following other measures that have already curtailed public life. Under the curfew people are still allowed to leave their homes to shop for food, go to work, visit the doctor, go for walks and do outdoor sports. Germany is struggling to contain the virus as over 19,000 cases of infection are now confirmed and 64 people have died. (Photo by Alexander Hassenstein/Getty Images)
