Kennedy (right) takes a brief "time out" from the campaign trail as he joins his wife, Ethel, and Oregon State Treasurer Robert Straub for a stroll on the beach near here. Kennedy ran two miles through the surf and latter doffed most of his clothes to take a swim. Kennedy suffered a stunning upset victory by Sen. Eugene J. McCarthy in the Oregon Democratic primary, May 28th.
