Israel is cutting Palestinians in the Jordan Valley off from neighbouring villages and preventing access to vital sources of income in a bid to force them out, local villagers claim 21 June 2006. Thirty-five percent of the Palestinian agriculture produce comes from the Jordan Valley, but Israeli restrictions mean farmers are unable to reach the markets in Nablus and villages in the West Bank on time to sell their produce.
