Painting of Futuristic Airport
(Original Caption) 3/8/1955- New York, NY- : America's big commercial airports may look like this in 1985 based on predictions of leading aeronautical and astronomy scientists in a sympsium sponsered by Trans-World Airways, as part of the airlines' thirtieth-anniversary program. In the 1986 airport model, above, the airliner on the ground at right of transparent domed passenger lounge is not too different from today's transport except for a differnt wing design.
