Kenya - Oriang School - Teaching sign language
Mary Apondo teaches sign language to colleagues at Othoro School, so that they may communicate with disabled pupils in their classes. This school is participating in a project run by British-based charity Leonard Cheshire which aims to boost the enrolment of disabled children in regular schools, and tackle the stigma that keeps 98% of Africa's disabled children out of school.
