Former head of the Foundation for Peace and Justice (FPJ) Dr Allan Boesak faces a barrage of cameras as he leaves the High Court in Cape Town 18 December .Boesak, who is standing trial on 32 counts of theft and fraud against the FPJ involving nine million rand (approximatly $1.5 million), was hoping for a favourable judgement to his lawyer's request that all charges be dismissed. The judge ruled that 5 of the charges be dismissed, but that the trial involving the remaining 27 charges continue next year.
