SEP 23 1972 Fire Heavily Damages Truck The interior of a concrete truck, which caught fire near the intersection of In­terstates 70 and 25 Friday, is heavily damaged. The driver. Merle Fredinburg, 39, Colorado Springs, an employee of Mo­bile Premix Concrete, Inc., said he pulled over after noticing smoke coming from in back of the truck's cab. Fredinburg used the truck's fire extinguisher to com­bat the fire which was well under control by the time firemen arrived, said Assist­ant Fire Chief D. C. Patallaz. Most of the damage was in the cab and firemen used only water to squelch the flames, Patal­laz said. The fire caused only minor traffic delays, according to Patallaz.
