Dr. Eugene Frenkel and Dr. Earl Rose

Dr. Eugene Frenkel (L), who headed the medical team treating Jack Ruby, and Dr. Earl Rose, Dallas county Medical Examiner, talk to newsmen following an autopsy on Ruby. Ruby, convicted of murdering presidential assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, died of cancer 1/3/67. The doctors said that ruby died of a blood clot in the lung. They said they could not tell for certain whether the cancer was the direct cause of the clot but said tumors of this type cause a predisposition to blood clots.
