(GERMANY OUT) Der Fraktionschef von CDU/Demokratischer Aufbruch, Günther Krause (r), während einer Tagung der DDR-Volkskammer im Mai 1990 im Palast der Republik. Krause ist zugleich Parlamentarischer Staatssekretär beim Ministerpräsidenten Lothar de Maiziere (l). Am 19. März ist de Maiziere als Ministerpräsident gewählt worden, nachdem Tags zuvor erstmals nach der Wende in der DDR eine Wahl nach den Regeln einer parlamentarischen Demokratie stattgefunden hat.
