After 40 years of landmark vote, when Aborigines were recognised as full Australian citizens for the first time, indiginous communities are still off the map marked as either blank or parkland. At the 18 communities there are huge social problems amongst the 3,000 Aborigines living there with high rates of alcohol abuse and domestic violence.
