Rick Avery 46, of Canyon Country stables a rock structure he built at Emma Wood State Beach where he is camping for the weekend with wife Cheryl, daughter Kimberly 10, and Kyle 8. Avery drove out on Sunday at 6:30am to pay $100. for his spot for full week in order to have a chance of camping on the beach. Rangers at Emma Wood said the campground was sold out Sunday morning for the week. Campers lined the beaches and campgrounds of Ventura County for the July 4th weekend.
